Jerre Paquette holds a B.Ed. and a MA from the University of Calgary and a PhD in written language acquisition from the University of London, England. He has taught at elementary, secondary, and tertiary levels over a 40-year period, with the last two decades at Mount Royal in the Department of English. Over his teaching career, he has been an actor, documentary film maker, writer, and award-winning teacher of Education (U of Brandon, U of Calgary) and English (MR). His interest in the relationship between student learning and nutrition led to the writing of Secrets of Supplements, an international best-seller, presently translated in Chinese, Indian, and Dutch. Presently, he is conducting research for a new book on the relationship among learning, reflection, and nutrition.
