Ken Rivard teaches mostly upgrading courses because he appreciates the "second chance" aspect of Mount Royal. His writing has appeared in dozens of regional and national publications and on the CBC. His books have been finalists for both the W.O. Mitchell Book Prize from the City of Calgary and the Howard O'Hagan Award from the Writers Guild of Alberta. Ken's publications include the following:
