Linda Howell teaches a variety of writing and literature courses in the Department of English, including technical communication, science fiction, fantasy, composition, rhetoric, and British literature since 1660. Her academic background in cultural studies and critical theory combines with many years of classroom experience to produce an interdisciplinary teaching style that students often describe as “enthusiastic.” Linda’s research and teaching interests include women’s studies, especially focusing on gender, culture, and technology.
