Robert Boschman is an Associate Professor who specializes in American literature, with emphasis on the seventeenth and twentieth centuries. His monograph, In the Way of Nature, was published by McFarland in 2009. It analyzes the dynamic relationship between "culture" and "nature" in America while focusing on poets Anne Bradstreet, Elizabeth Bishop, and Amy Clampitt. Dr. Boschman chairs the steering committee for Mount Royal's 2010 interdisciplinary conference, "Under Western Skies: Climate, Culture and Change in Western North America." He also teaches a number of literature and composition courses focused on American Literature, the writing process, and the history of poetry in English..
