Novelist, popular historian, humorist and travel writer
Will Ferguson is a three-time winner of the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Globe & Mail, Canadian Geographic and Esquire UK, and for several years he wrote a column in Maclean's Magazine titled "Will Ferguson's Canada." His novels have been published in 21 languages around the world and he has been nominated for an IMPAC Dublin Award twice, and for a Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. He has also received the Pierre Berton Award from Canada’s National History Society. His latest novel, 419, won the 2012 Scotiabank Giller Prize. He lives in Calgary with his wife and their two sons.
