Brad graduated from the University of Calgary in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. After working in a supervisory position for the Calgary Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Brad attended the University of New Brunswick, where he obtained a Master of Arts in contemporary American Literature in 1992.
Brad then worked as a technical editor for CH2M Hill Engineering until 1993, when he began teaching technical and business communication at SAIT. Brad has taught part-time at Mount Royal since 1994 and is currently in his ninth year as a full-time instructor in the Bissett School of Business. He teaches business communications, business math, and statistics.
In 2002, Brad obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, and he is currently working towards his MBA through Herriot Watt's distance education program.
