A native of Calgary, Brad Quiring graduated from the University of Calgary in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. After a brief period working in the tourism industry, he attended the University of New Brunswick, obtaining a Master of Arts in contemporary American Literature in 1992. In 1993 Brad began teaching technical and business communications at SAIT, and in 1994 he began teaching part time at Mount Royal.
Since 2000, Brad has been a full-time instructor in the Bissett School of Business, teaching business communications, business math, and statistics. In 2007, Brad took a leave of absence to complete his MBA through Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, as well as to author the first Canadian edition of Scot Ober's Contemporary Business Communications. Brad is currently the coordinator for MGMT 2262.
