David possesses a unique blend of professional and academic marketing experience. David holds a PhD with a research focus in relationship marketing. Specifically, his research is developing a model that will isolate and link marketing investments to a company’s key performance indicators by examining changes in stakeholders’ attitudes and behaviours. He also holds a Masters degree from the University of Kent (UK) and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program of the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.
David’s professional background includes nineteen years of progressively senior domestic and international marketing experience for organizations including Bell Canada, Rogers Communications, The Calgary Stampede and Yellow Pages. David was also the Managing Director of TrojanOne’s sponsorship consulting practice, leading community projects for diverse clients including Imperial Oil, BC Ferries, The Royal Winter Fair, the BC Dairy Foundation and the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
In addition to his appointment at Bissett, David keeps active links into the business community as the Managing Director of the Connect Strategy Group (www.connectstrategy.com), a market research consultancy that specializes in corporate reputation.
