Douglas has 27 years experience in management and entrepreneurship, including 21 years where he was president and general manager of a family outdoor specialty retail business. He was involved with corporate marketing for the Hudson Bay Company in Toronto, and was involved in the entrepreneurial launch and management of two other SME ventures. He also was director of the John Dobson Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Mount Allison University. Douglas has taught courses at the post-secondary level for more than 10 years, including two years at the Bissett School of Business on a term certain contract.
