Dr. Kalinga Jagoda has a PhD in Operations Management from the University of Western Sydney, Australia, an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Dr. Jagoda has an impressive breadth of experience in teaching post-secondary business courses most recently with a full time position at Memorial University. His teaching experience includes business statistics but also in operations management, supply chain management, project management, financial accounting, management accounting, strategy, information systems, finance and international business. Dr. Jagoda has a number of refereed publications, and papers in progress. His current research projects, with the Government of Newfoundland and the University of Western Sydney Australia, are of practical and academic interest. Dr. Jagoda also has two years of industry experience which has allowed him to draw from a range of experiences to supplement material covered in his courses. His research work with businesses allowed him while in Newfoundland to continue to update the practical examples he brings to his classes.
