Margaret Brown received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary in 1980 and her MBA from York University in 1982. Upon graduation she joined the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce where she worked in Commercial and Small Business lending until 1990. From 1990 to 1995 she worked as a business consultant for Alberta Economic Development in Edmonton. She joined Mount Royal as a part-time instructor in 1996 and became a full-time instructor in 1998. Margaret teaches in the Marketing area and coordinates the Directed Field Studies for the Bachelor of Applied Business and Entrepreneurship. She was the recipient of an E Award from the Student's Association in 1999.
