Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts (major in English and minor in Political Science) from the University of Calgary, and her LLB from the University of Alberta. She is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta, the Insurance Institute of Southern Alberta and the Risk and Insurance Management Society.
Susan's career has included corporate counsel in the oil and gas sector, legal research, and various part-time teaching positions at post-secondary institutions. She is a tenured faculty member of the Bissett School of Business at Mount Royal. Susan has taught various business courses, specializing in Business Law and Insurance courses.
