Amina Beecroft received an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business University of Western Ontario in 1988 and her CFA designation in 1997. Amina also holds a bachelor (University of Western Ontario) and masters degree (University of Alberta) in music prior to her move to business.

Following graduation, Amina returned to Calgary and developed her professional career in the capital markets includes experience as a research analyst, investment banking professional and portfolio manager. Amina’s professional career centered on the finance, analysis and investment in securities of emerging, junior and intermediate energy companies. As well, Amina has experience in a broad range of firms from national brokerage firms, boutique investment banking firms and independently owned portfolio management firms.

Amina joined Mount Royal University as a part time instructor in 2008 teaching courses in finance and investments and became full time in 2011.
