Within the Bissett School of Business, Christian teaches a variety of courses including: Introduction to Human Resources, Recruitment & Selection, and Organizational Learning
& Development. Passionate about student success, Christian’s industry experience plays
a large role in her classroom facilitation.
She has previous professional experience in financial services, retail, government, the
not-for-profit and the oil and gas industries and maintains active ties with the HR community
in and outside of Calgary and Alberta. As part of her commitment to the HR profession, she recently completed a two year term on the H.R.I.A. Recertification and Audit Committee for C.H.R.P. holders. Christian is an active member in the Calgary community and in 2011 concluded her term appointment as Chair, Board of Directors of the Women in Need Society (WINS). She is currently a member of the MRU HR Partnership Council working with faculty, students and industry experts in the field of human resources.
Christian is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Calgary.
