Private pilot programMount Royal Aviation is committed to student success and the provision of exceptional flight training. The PPL program has been restructured to meet the needs primarily of students interested in pursuing further flight training following the completion of a private license. Our instructional staff will focus on ensuring that students work through the program at a dedicated pace designed to ensure they meet the entrance requirements for our Commercial Pilot's Program in September of 2010.
Our program now boasts a staff of instructors with wide and varied experience in the industry. Both our ground school and flight training meets and exceeds the Transport Canada minimum requirements and is complete with a kit of supplies and tools. new to the Private program is the incorporation of our flight training simulator, the Frasca 142, with wrap-around 180 degree screens. The program is designed to ensure that our students safely achieve a level of excellence in training and meet the high levels of proficiency in the industry and to prepare them for success in further flight training.
Ground school classes include Air Law, Metrology, Navigation, Engines and Systems, as well as human factors and pilot decision make. Classes start in April.
