Canadian Promoting Life Skills with Aboriginal (PLAY) Program is pleased to be hosting a Youth Leadership Symposium from May 14th to May 19th at the Tim Hortons Camp in Kananaskis with 2 youth and 1 community Mentor from over 20  communities. The theme this year is around mental wellness and healthy communities, "Look After Yourself, Look After One Another" .

The PLAY Program partners with 90 FIrst Nations Communities and Urban Indigenous organizations across Canada to build on strengths of Indigenous youth and their communities to delver safe, fun and educational programming for children and youth. The program is designed to enhance educational outcomes, improve peer-to-peer relationships, increase employability and improve physical and mental health amongst young people.

We are currently looking for a few wonderful individuals who have experience in psychosocial support and mental wellness with children and youth who would be interested in volunteering their time to participate during the week (either the whole week/part). We could happily cover their accommodation, meals, and basic travel to the venue.
