Christine Brownell

Degrees: RN, BN, MN

Christine completed her undergraduate degree and her master's degree in nursing at the University of Calgary . Her areas of specialization and interest in research are family systems, gerontology, and mental health nursing. Christine's other professional interests include curriculum development and the scholarship of teaching. Christine became a part-time instructor at Mount Royal in 2001 and joined the School of Nursing faculty full time in 2005. Christine has taught in first year nursing foundational courses and third year senior block courses. Christine works as a relief staff nurse for the Calgary Health Region on an acute in-patient mental health unit and continues to explore her love of photography and abstract painting.
