Heather McLellan

Degrees: RN, BN, MDE, CFRN

Heather McLellan has more than twenty-five years of emergency and transport nursing experience working in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Texas with almost twenty years of that time spent working on helicopter air ambulances including Air One (East Texas Medical Center), Life Flight (University of Texas Galveston) and Alberta Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS Calgary). Heather completed her Baccalaureate in Nursing at the University of Calgary and her Masters of Distance Education degree at Athabasca University. Heather is also a site surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS), a life member and past president of the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA), a member of the Emergency Nurse Interest Group (ENIG) in Alberta, and an active member on the board of directors for both the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) and the Board of Critical Care Transport Paramedic Certification (BCCTPC).
