Dean's Message

The Faculty of Health and Community Studies is inspiring students to make a difference by providing twenty-one academic programs that prepare professionals in a variety of health and community-related fields. The Faculty offers baccalaureate, diploma, university transfer and certificate programs, including Mount Royal University's newest baccalaureate degree, the four-year Bachelor of Midwifery program, which begins in Fall 2011. Our programs are high-quality, innovative and responsive to the needs of the community and our graduates are in high-demand by employers and graduate schools. A unifying feature of our twenty-one programs is to enhance well-being throughout our communities via education and research initiatives that feature unique partnerships with organizations and agencies, locally and globally.

Professors facilitate educational experiences that incorporate their extensive academic and practice experience.
