As a graduate of the first ACCN program in 1989, Tricia has been associated with ACCN since the beginning. She has been instructing in both the critical care and emergency streams of ACCN since 2000 on a part-time basis. Tricia's critical care experience outside of education has taken place over the last 20 years in Calgary at different sites within the health region and as a flight nurse.

Tricia has a special interest in the learning needs of new graduate nurses in critical care. She has recently completed research in this area to finish her MN degree through the University of Dundee.

Tricia is a member of the board of directors for the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses.
