
Real world experiences
The Practicum component is one of the strengths of the applied degree program. The Bachelor of Applied Business and Entrepreneurship — Sport and Recreation Practicums will be an exciting and challenging part of your education. The two paid or unpaid work terms give you an opportunity to gain experience, make contacts and apply classroom theory on the job. Your first work term is 175 hours, while the second is 450 hours.
Getting the right opportunity
The Physical Education and Recreation Studies department works closely with you and employers to find placements and monitor your work experience. You will also complete assignments and other reports to fulfill the academic requirements of these 12-credit Practicum courses.
