Practicum stream

Get hands-on experience at a justice-related agency and apply the concepts you’ve covered in the classroom to real-world situations. In the practicum stream you will complete a capstone practicum (6 credits) in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Arts — Criminal Justice.

Practica are unpaid work experiences consisting of 2.5 days of full-time work within an agency, plus bi-weekly academic seminars and required course assignments supervised by an instructor.

You will work with a practicum coordinator well in advance of going out on a placement and before registering for the practicum course.
