Transfer Information

Most students who register in Physical Education — University Transfer at Mount Royal transfer to the University of Calgary. The links you will find below are designed to help students who are intending to transfer to the U of C.

Many Mount Royal University Physical Education courses will also transfer to the University of Lethbridge and the University of Alberta. Transfer Guidelines

Decide to which university you would like to transfer.
Decide into which stream or program you would like to enrol at the university of your choice.
Go online and access the required information for the university and program of your choice. Check the application deadline for your desired program. Universities and programs have various deadlines for application.
Access the application for the program and university of your choice and complete the application according to the instructions given.
Go to the MRU Registrar's Office and complete a form requesting that your transcripts be sent to the university to which you have submitted an application. This should be done within days of submitting your application. There will be a nominal fee required and your transcripts which must be sent by MRU, you cannot send them yourself.
You may also be required to have your high school transcripts sent directly to the university to which you are applying so you must arrange for that through your former high school of the provincial government Department of Education (Alberta Learning).

Be sure to pay any required application deposit by the deadlines specified.
At the end of the winter semester be sure to go to the Mount Royal Registrar's Office and request another set of your transcripts be sent showing your grades for your final semester's work at Mount Royal University. This step is very important as you will not be considered for admission to the University without your final grades being submitted.
