Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE)

To become a Registered Nurse in Canada, you must pass the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE).

The CRNE is administered through the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Applicants must apply for registration with CARNA and be assessed as eligible to write the exam. Information on the application process and writing the CRNE is available on the CARNA website.
