Marianne has been working and instructing in the area of Gerontology for over ten years. Prior to her appointment to Mount Royal University, Marianne designed and delivered health and wellness programs for community dwelling older adults. In addition to community work, Marianne has taught undergraduate courses at the University of Calgary. Marianne has several referred publications and has presented her research on the relationship between physical activity and resilience at the local and national level. Marianne is an active member of the Alberta Association on Gerontology and the Canadian Association on Gerontology.
