About us

The Integrative Health Institute at Mount Royal (IHI at MR) is Canada’s first post-secondary institution dedicated to advancing complementary and alternative health education and practice.

Mount Royal is a leader in identifying new areas of study and collaborative research — like integrative health.

The Integrative Health Institute at Mount Royal was established in 2005 to provide a focal point for the continued development and integration of complementary and alternative health care into the fabric of Mount Royal and the community.

Advisory committee

The Integrative Health Institute at Mount Royal will have as its resource, an advisory committee made up of leaders in complementary, alternative and conventional health care and post-secondary education.
