International students — conditional acceptance
Applying for conditional acceptance
Conditional acceptance means that we will reserve a place for you in the full-time credit program (some restrictions may apply). Generally, it will take several months for you to enter your credit program. The conditions on this letter are:
- That you are enrolled in the English Language program at Mount Royal. That you satisfy all academic requirements for your program (with the exception of English 30).
You will need to complete this course by August 1 (for admission to the Fall term), or by December 1 (for admission to the Winter term). - That you satisfy the English Proficiency Requirement (EPR) by August 1 (for admission to the Fall term), or by December 1 (for admission to the Winter term).
To apply for conditional acceptance, please follow these instructions:
- Check off the option for Conditional Acceptance on the Application Form for English Language Program.
- You must send us copies of your high school, and Post Secondary transcripts (if applicable) with official translation into English.
- Please send the following documents to the Office of International Education:
- English Language program application.
- Full tuition for the English Language program.
- The $70 (CDN) application fee for conditional acceptance to credit programs.
- Your transcripts with official translations.
