Full-Time English Language Program

The Languages Institute at Mount Royal offers students:

• challenging English language programs from beginner to University entrance
• highly qualified English language instructors
• computer lab facilities
• a library and learning resources
• a supportive classroom learning environment
• a bridge into post-secondary credit programs

We offer three types of full time (27.5 hours/week) English programs:

• English Foundations (EF)
• English for Academic Purposes (EAP)
• English for Advanced Communication (EAC)
• Teaching English as a Foreign Language(TEFL)

Graduates of EAP Level 3 with an 80% (B-) average satisfy the language proficiency requirement for degree, diploma, and university transfer programs at Mount Royal University.

We also offer part-time courses in English as a Second Language and TOEFL® preparation for students who want to study in the afternoon, evenings and weekends.
