What is PC-IEHP?
PC-IEHP is a 12-week (270 hour) Professional Communication for Internationally Educated Health Professionals Program that assists immigrant health professionals from a variety of disciplines increase their cultural competence, communication skills and strategies, and language that they need to work effectively with culturally diverse clients and colleagues.
Who is the Program for?
This Program is aimed at internationally educated Midwives, Nurses, Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists and Physiotherapists who want to increase their professional communication skills, understanding of workplace culture and language proficiency in order to:
• access bridging programs specific to their professional discipline,
• seek or improve their employment options within a Canadian healthcare context, and/or
• take competency exams in their field.
