Who can apply for this course?

Internationally educated Midwives and Nurses and International Medical Graduates (IMGs) who want to improve their English language proficiency, professional communication skills, and understanding of professional workplace culture in order to:
•     access bridging programs specific to their professional discipline,
•     improve their employment options within a Canadian healthcare context,
•     take competency exams in their fiels, and/or
•     receive an orientation to the Canadian healthcare system.

When can you apply?

You can apply at any time during the year for the courses advertised under Course Information. If you are eligible for a funded place, you should apply early. Applications for funded seats are considered on a "first come first served" basis.

English Language Proficiency Requirement

•     Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB)  Speaking and Listening 7 and  Reading 6,
       OR
•      IELTS Academic overall 6 with 6 in Speaking and Listening, OR
•      TOEFL iBT® 80 with 18 in Speaking

Note: There is an interview to confirm suitability for the course.
