ITESM Teacher Program, Tec de Monterrey

4 week summer program

Faculty development program which focuses on pedagogical issues such as Assessment, Problem Based Learning and Effective Teaching Skills as well as improving English language skills. Instructors are required to develop practical plans for implementation of new methodologies into their own work. The program includes in-class fieldtrips, guest speakers and evening/weekend excursions to sites in and around Calgary.

UNAM PAAS, National Autonomous University of Mexico

5-week summer program

A yearlong professional development program includes a five-week overseas placement. Teachers participate in a series of workshops, demonstrations and site visits that are structured to meet the overall goals for the program. The program includes various in-class fieldtrips and evening/weekend excursions to sites in and around Calgary.
