Laboratory Support Centre

The Laboratory Support Centre is responsible for safety in the laboratory, proper maintenance of safety equipment and supplies, as well as safe chemical storage. There are two laboratory technologists for biological sciences, two for chemistry and one instrumentation technician who looks after the greenhouse, and the preparation for all biological, chemical and environmental science laboratories.

The centre is also responsible for chemical and biological waste, updating all necessary laboratory supplies and preparation of all chemical solutions needed. There is a scheduled window available all day for questions and problems with the laboratories and support is provided to all faculty and laboratory instructors.

Fall and Winter
Monday to Thursday — 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday — 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Spring
Monday to Friday — 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please note that lab coats and lab glasses are sold at the Mount Royal Bookstore.
