Dr Gwen O’Sullivan, is delighted with the recent publication of her edited book entitled 'Environmental Forensics for Persistant Environmental Pollutants'
The book was released in February 2014 by Elsevier, one of the world’s largest publishers of scientific texts, and has been sold internationally. The book was conceived as a treatise with the objective of providing a comprehensive examination of persistent organic pollutants (POPs). It is the first environmental forensics text devoted exclusively to POPs and introduces the reader to a multitude of chemicals and forensic techniques.

Scaling the Northwest Face of K6
Fearless mountain climber and Mount Royal Physicist, Raphael Slawinski, scaled the Northwest face of K6 in the Himalayas in July 2013. The ascent of this previously unclimbed summit, gained him and climbing partner Ian Welsted the Piolets d’Or 2014 award. The Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy
Mount Royal University has been chosen to participate in a nation-wide physical literacy project involving assessing children between 8 and 12 years of age across Canada. Eight thousand children will be assessed through six different universities (MRU, Lethbridge, Windsor, St. FX, Nipissing, and Dalhousie).
