General admission requirements

You must meet the general admission requirements for Mount Royal programs. Although the Admissions and Recruitment Office will determine which admission category, or standing, you will be in, you can check out the admission category definitions.

Program-specific admission requirements

• Enrolment is limited to those with relevant professional, educational, or work experience
• Minimum of an Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required
• Preference will be given to applicants with a post-secondary qualification such as a degree or diploma
• Prior completion of a programming course is strongly recommended

Entrance to the Computer Science certificate program is based on consent of the department. Contact the department for recommended courses and further information.
