An international exchange program has put a third-year Computer Information Systems and Business student on the road to an exciting career with one of the world's most prestigious automakers.

Chris Ogston was recently offered a job at BMW in Munich, Germany and will be heading to Europe this summer after he graduates.

A second-year Computer Information Systems and Business student recently received first-place honours in a website design competition hosted by the Calgary chapter of the United Nations Association of Canada (UNAC).

Branford Wang went head-to-head with other students from SAIT, the University of Calgary and Mount Royal in the competition, and the website he designed is now utilized by the association.

At 24, Donny Truong (Applied Business and Entrepreneurship - Computer Information Systems '05) has planned the migration of 100-plus computers to a network.

He's researched vendors to get maximum technological advantage for his non-profit employer while meeting exacting grant requirements. He's spent hours crawling through sub-spaces to map the building for cabling. He's trained employees as the organization moves toward standardized programs and systems.
