Faculty orientation

The ADC offers the following two programs to orient faculty to teaching and learning at Mount Royal University:

Instructional support program (ISP)

In keeping with Mount Royal’s commitment to teaching, the Academic Development Centre offers the Instructional Support Program (ISP) for all new full-time faculty. The mandatory program begins with an orientation in August and is furthered by regular meetings over the next three academic years.

Instructional support program, part-time (ISPT)

The ISPT program gives part-time faculty the opportunity to develop reflective teaching skills, to discover community and collegial connection, and to gain an understanding of Mount Royal’s culture and procedures. Orientation sessions and workshop series are held in the fall and winter semesters.
