The Academic Development Centre (ADC) offers two programs designed to orient new faculty members to best practices in teaching and learning at Mount Royal University. These programs are designed to support Mount Royal's focus on excellence in teaching and learning.
New faculty support program
The ADC’s long-standing and successful Instructional Support Program (ISP) for new faculty was re-designed in 2011. The New Faculty Support Program (NFSP) was developed after an institution-wide consultation process. The NFSP will launch for the first time in August of the 2012/13 academic year.

Part-time faculty support program
The Part-time Faculty Support Program (PTFSP) provides an opportunity for part-time Mount Royal faculty members to develop reflective practice in relation to their teaching skills, to discover community and collegial connections, and to gain a better understanding of the Mount Royal culture.
