The START program provides skilled software and educational technology support to both full-time and part-time faculty/instructional staff. START Techs are trained to assist faculty and staff with the delivery of University supported software and technology.
START Techs can be scheduled to present or support workshops in your classroom. Subject to availability, the START teaching lab (T104) can be booked for up to 24 students. To schedule a presenter and/or book room T104 for a START presentation, please send an email request to START at firstname.lastname@example.org with your details (Course name, number of students, presentation topic, preferred dates/times, and desired location).
In addition to the START and START Media Studio service orientations, START is currently offering presentations on the following topics: MyMRU, Blackboard, MSOffice, Google Apps,and Word Press. A representative from START would be happy to visit your classroom to deliver a brief informative session on the software and technology assistance available to you as an instructor and to your students.
