Wanda Le holds both a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. Her musical studies in piano and elementary education inspired her to complete a graduate diploma specializing in Kodály Pedagogy from the Summer Kodály Institute at the University of Calgary.
Wanda has taught Kodály based music programs in the public, charter and private school systems in Calgary for over 12 years, during which time she also served as a conductor with the junior program of the Calgary Girls Choir. Her work with her elementary school choirs have received recognition at festivals, both at the local and provincial level. A love of singing and music literacy is always at the core of her teaching, as she strives to inspire artistry in her students. In addition to her role at Mount Royal, Wanda is also a music specialist at the Calgary Girls' School where she enjoys teaching music and choir to grade four and five students.
