Anita is a native Calgarian. After completing her Performer’s ARCT at the Conservatory in 1999, she went to UBC and received her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. She continued her studies at UBC and holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education. During her studies, she specialized in Expressive Arts and had the opportunity to work with the Music Department, the Visual Arts Department and Drama Department. She also helped produce a small class production of STOMP for the UBC Faculty of Education’s 50th Anniversary. Prior to moving back to Calgary, she taught in the North Vancouver School District. Anita has been on faculty since 2008 and has been teaching both group and private classes. She is looking forward to hosting a week-long summer camp in 2012 at MRU.
