Maimie De Silva has worked at Mount Royal University for over 20 years. She began at the Conservatory on a part-time basis while attending university. She went on to work as the Coordinator for English as a Second Language at Mount Royal's Languages Institute.

Since 2001 Maimie has been the Coordinator for the acclaimed international summer music program, Morningside Music Bridge at Mount Royal University – she is thrilled to be a part of such an amazing music program.

She now calls Kaleden, BC home. When not working, Maimie is involved volunteering in many community organizations in her area – she says it is important to give back to the community.
