Susan Drayson had been an instructor in the Mount Royal Conservatory Early Childhood Kodály Musicianship Program for seven years before accepting the role of coordinator of the program as well.

Susan is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, University of Western Ontario, and the University of Calgary. She has also studied at the Zoltán Kodály Pedagogical Institute in Hungary. In addition to Susan's love of teaching music to children, she is a chorister at Christ Church, Elbow Park in Calgary and has sung in several cathedrals in Britain.

Susan is a past president of the Alberta Kodály Association and for several years was an instructor and administrator with the Kodály Summer Program (music teacher-training course) at the University of Calgary. Susan is thrilled to be able to put all of her teaching energies into Mount Royal full-time, and wishes you all a fun and rewarding year of music-making!
