Wendy Rae has a degree in Music Education from the University of Calgary and the masters level in Orff Schulwerk Certification from the University of Alberta.

She has been involved in music education in Calgary since 1978. For 12 years she taught as an elementary music specialist for the Calgary Board of Education. After leaving the CBE to begin a family, Wendy opened the studio, ORFF Music For Children, in 1992. Here she has the pleasure of making music with children aged 2 through 10. She has also had the opportunity to provide a music program for students at the One World Child Development Centre in downtown Calgary for two years. In all of these experiences, Wendy has enjoyed watching children blossom through the power of music!

Wendy has taught private piano and theory lessons to children and adults for the past 30 years. She has also enjoyed teaching teachers in the Orff Schulwerk Certification Program at the University of Alberta for the past 15 summers, and has presented music education workshops in both Canada and the United States.

Wendy lives in a musical household with her husband and two teenage children who are bot serious music students and her pride and joy!
