Privacy protection policy

The personal information collected through the Mount Royal University Conservatory application and registration process is collected under the authority of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Section 33(c), and is protected by that Act.

It will be used for processing the registration(s) of you or your child, for the administration and teaching of the educational programs in which you/he/she participate(s), and for University research and planning purposes.

Non-financial information may be shared with instructors, administrators, other parents or students, and with associations affiliated with the University, for the purposes of the educational program and for the public performances of you or your child. Financial information is used solely for the purpose of processing payments for the courses.

Occasionally, the Mount Royal Conservatory will distribute information, publicity or promotion about opportunities and events which we believe are complementary to and consistent with the role of education in the arts. Your personal information will be retained by the Mount Royal Conservatory and not provided to a third party. If you wish to be excluded from any such mailing list, please advise your registration clerk at time of registration.
