The Conservatory has a variety of vocal programs, ranging from private, individual lessons, group classes involving singing and other instruments, and ensembles, like our choirs and the Vocal Jazz ensemble.

Private Lessons	Personalized, individual lessons with our highly experienced faculty. Our online lesson request form is the first step.
Calgary Boys Choir	A choral program that Empowers boys to be remarkable, expressive and creative citizens.
Children's Choir	An opportunity for your child to begin a rewarding and life-long journey in music.
Mount Royal Artio	Participate in a theatre of voices, in a choir that specializes in music that is distinct, demanding, diverse and innovative.
Mount Royal Kantorei	Strengthen your musical and vocal skills within a challenging framework of choral masterworks from all eras, and explore the wealth of Canadian choral repertoire available for the adult voice.
Vocal Jazz	Develop your sense of blend, balance and intonation in an enjoyable atmosphere. Singing in our Vocal Jazz Ensemble is a unique way to use your vocal skills.
Vocal Academy	A comprehensive, credit free training program for singers aged 13 to 19 years who exhibit a sincere desire and the vocal talent to become a classical singer.
Sing! Adult Camp	Summer 2013 - Do you love to sing but have been told by someone that you sound terrible? Do you sing by yourself and never sing in front of others? Do you sing all the time, but run out of songs?

About our Choirs

Our Choral Program ranges in ages from five to adult, and includes both mixed voice choirs and a series of Boys choirs. Our mission is to provide singers from Calgary and area an exceptionally high standard of training and performance opportunities. Regular weekly rehearsals using a broad range of challenging repertoire are supplemented with workshops given by directors and guest conductors.

Performance is a key aspect to our program, and each choir is supported by an affiliated society whose role includes producing additional performances, and providing enrichment training to supplement our core program.

Our performances include Conservatory events like Christmas in Song, invitational appearances within the community, festival appearances and concerts featuring individual choirs, or various combinations of choirs. In addition, there are opportunities for performance tours to provincial, national or international destinations appropriate to the age and accomplishments of the individual choirs.
