Music with Your Baby
Ages 0-36 months
Learn to provide an enriched environment of music and reading for your infant or toddler during these very important first years. Music with Your Baby creates a strong partnership among parent, teacher and child, where you play an important role in developing your child's full potential. This unique program for babies, newborn to 36 months, is based on the principle that the greatest development of a child's natural abilities takes place in an environment that is enriched by music and language. The program promotes confidence and self-esteem, increases focus and concentration, increases physical and aural awareness, and fosters a love of music, language and learning that will last throughout your child's life.
How will you and your child benefit? Strengthen the parent/child relationship, be amazed at the abilities of your young child, learn to observe and identify your child's enjoyable experiences.
What principles guide the program? The learning approach is child-centered, early exposure to music and language provides tools for developing future learning skills.
How do teachers create a stimulating environment? Build a foundation of listening using the human voice in rhyme, rhythm and song, present traditional folk and nursery songs, rhymes, chants and storytelling, respect the learning pace of each child.
