|18+||Pedagogy of Harmony||Advanced||July 17- July 21 and Aug. 21 - 25||This course offers teachers of Harmony an approach to teaching that engages the potential "whole" musician in each student - listener, performer, and composer. The teaching of all foundational aspects of the standard Canadian conservatories’ Harmony curriculum, from essential materials to form, will be addressed in this refreshingly realistic context. This course builds upon the established skills of teaching harmony. Its pedagogical support enriches both the teachers’ and the students’ understanding and experience of the curriculum materials.|
