A summer institute can be one of the most inspiring and rewarding experiences for a Suzuki family. The spirit of Dr. Suzuki’s Talent Education culminates at an institute. For five days, we are immersed in an environment of listening and performing, developing new ideas and sharing these experiences with those who are also interested in the same activities.
Parents, teachers and students come together in classes run by the most caring and truly the most outstanding teachers. Institutes offer a variety of classes for solo and group performance. Families become great friends and look forward to returning the following summer. One mother said “it’s like getting your batteries recharged again.”
Feature Activities
Daily classes are arranged according to age and level of playing. Students will participate in a combination of three daily classes:
Other events include daily recitals and concerts, parent lectures and time to share ideas and experiences with other families. Practice rooms are available for individual study.
