Have Theatre Will Travel

2012-2013 Season

Bring the magic of theatre to your classroom with Have Theatre, Will Travel, an in-school theatre tour program presented by Theatre MRU.

Theatre MRU is the performance company of Mount Royal University’s Department of Theatre, Speech and Music Performance. It features student actors presenting works by established playwrights and showcases the on-stage and behind-the-scenes skills of department students.

One entertaining and informative play is offered for each division. Plays for Division II and III students are curriculum-based, including a play for Grades 4 to 8 that explores Alberta’s history and includes a teacher’s resource guide. Performances are followed by a question and answer session with the actors.
