Welcome

Welcome to the Mount Royal College Assessment Showcase website. This site recognizes the efforts involved in creating learning outcomes and assessment plan initiatives put forth by the College's programs and disciplines. (Plan for Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes at Mount Royal College)

Programs and disciplines began submitting annual assessment plan reports outlining the activities performed to assess learning outcomes in September 2003. These reports provide assessment findings, the actions taken as a result, and future assessment plans.

Purpose of the Assessment Showcase

The purpose of the Assessment Showcase website is to:

• Serve as an avenue to showcase to the College community the ongoing assessment activities of programs and disciplines
  
• Recognize and highlight assessment work conducted by faculty
  
• Act as a repository of assessment artifacts in use at MRC
  
• Serve as an area of interest for visitors to the college website

Initially, the website will display the learning outcomes and assessment plan activities conducted by programs and disciplines that completed Phase I and II of the Plan for Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes initiative. In the fall 2005 semester, this information will be updated to reflect the ongoing assessment work of these programs and disciplines, along with those who will have completed Phase III of the Assessment Plan.
