PhD, president and vice-chancellor

Mount Royal is a welcoming place for students, faculty, staff, alumni, community and, yes, the tenth president and first vice-chancellor, Dr. Tim Rahilly!

The Board of Governors is thrilled to have found in Dr. Rahilly (pronounced RAW-lee) an exceptional leader. “Exceptional” because Dr. Rahilly is deeply committed to the transformational power of education to change students’ lives and communities for the better.

“I am tremendously impressed with how committed everyone at Mount Royal is to students,” said Rahilly. “This aligns with my view that universities should provide an education with academic merit and integrity, and an experience that is centered on the personal growth of each student.”
