The ADC instructional design (ID) team supports Mount Royal faculty in the creation or maintenance of blended and fully-online eLearning projects. A call for proposals is distributed in the spring and work on newly funded projects is carried out during a September through June development cycle. Faculty provide subject matter expertise and work collaboratively with the support of an instructional design consultant, graphic designer and other ADC professional staff when it would be helpful. In addition you will have opportunities to:
- Meet and connect with other faculty who are developing eLearning projects
- Re-examine your curriculum, learning activities, and assessment strategies
- Learn about strategies for engaging students in an online learning environment
Full-time faculty members receive course reassignment time for their contribution to the development process, while part-time faculty members receive an equivalent stipend.
